Another great piece of work by Penn & Teller. I did feel a little awkward for Kate -- she seems like a very pleasant person. But what I see demonstrated here are misguided young people whose naivety will hurt all of us in the long term. We're living through very interesting times. In our living memory we've seen an Empire disappear (Great Britain) and I am beginning to think that we're about to undo Western Civilization through this madness. I thought catastrophes are needed to destroy great civilizations (Egyptians, Mayans etc.) but we're witnessing how "good intentions" do it as effectively.

I liked the video a great deal at first but then showed it to my 12 year old and she showed me to see it through different eyes - here are her comments:

"The movie was sort of funny, but I thought that it was disrespectful towards the people in the video. Some of these people were teenagers. I hope, yet doubt, that they signed up to be in the video. When I try to imagine being in their shoes, I realized how humiliated they must be. I suggest being more thoughtful, because you may find it hard to win people over."

I have always appreciated Penn and Tellers cutting through the bullshit even when I was somewhat chagrined and had to reevaluate my owns views. This piece, in keeping with the past, is brilliant. Thank you Penn and Teller. Keep helping us to bring sanity to these environmental questions.
