Al's big news this week is that he gets to speak to the lefty Mile High Club at the DNC in Denver.  Al's always happy to speak to people, as long as they aren't the press.

The weather was supposed to be a balmy 94F for his Denver speech, as predicted by those clever climate models Al likes so much.  Oh, wait, this just in:

You'll know by now that Al's global warming hoax is not going so well, so he's spending $300 million making sure Americans stay good and scared.  Unfortunately for the Profit Prophet, people don't like his ads.

Remember Al's speech where he channeled JFK and challenged America to be fossil fuel free in 10 years?  Ain't gonna happen.

For once I must give Al credit for something, he has decided to save the planet by killing off his Climate Crisis blog.  Way to go, Al.

Canada's own Gore-lite, the aging hippy David Suzuki, has an interesting column in which he wants us to worship mountains and live by scrabbling in the dirt.  Or something.  I don't know what he's on about, but neither does he, so it's all cool. Man.

In a bid to add global warming believers to her fan base of teenage girls and perverts, Miley Cyrus, a pop-tart, sings an anthem to global warming. 

While we're talking about children, Roger Pielke Sr. notes that teachers are getting a very limited perspective on global warming.  In more despotic regimes this would be denounced as indoctrination.

The Washington Post spins so fast it could dry laundry in a different zip code.

AGW believer and academic Naomi Oreskes wonders why climate skeptics still persist.  Her conclusion (of course) is that skeptics are bought and paid for by Big Oil and Big Coal:

Polar bears are dying, again.  Every week we have the dying polar bears. They take longer to expire than that chick in the English Patient.  More on bears later in this round up.

The Bjorn Lomborg versus Oliver Tickell spat continues.  So far it's 4-0 to Lomborg.  Tickell-me-Enviro seems to have dropped his argument in the face of all those pesky facts.  Typical lefty.

Here's a fun take on the ever-intolerant global-warming muppet James Hansen.

The British Medical Journal has found the answer to global warming, but it's not a new solution, its another iteration of the green's depopulation fetish.  They want Brits to have fewer kids.  This is in the UK, not China.  Scared yet?

Africa will soon be underwater.  Or parts of it will.  In 2099.  Maybe.  Whatever, it was a good headline, don't make them explain it.

We're all dead in 100 months.  I quit smoking for this?  Damn.

Global warming believers like wildlife.  A lot.  Why then is it OK for wind farms to kill bats and rare birds, but not for oilsands to kill ducks that can't tell water from toxic waste?  Isn't that like, Darwinism?

To file under 'uncooperative history' we have a story about how recent ice core samples show that pollution was highest 100 years ago.  But, it wasn't warm back then.  Oops. 

A similar story but with older samples is at the BBC.  Let's see if we can spot the problem in this generally pro-warming story...

Family is important, but so is the environment.  So it's time to get closer to your family with re-usable toilet wipes.  As if we needed further confirmation that greens are all dirty hippys.

Two items from Australia:
First is the continued Western Australian ban on GM crops, a senseless pandering to scaremongers. 

Second is the decision by Australia's federal Environment Minister to expand uranium mining.  What's so great about that, you ask?  Aha! I say, the federal Environment Minister is none other that anti-nuke activist and Midnight Oil singer Pete Garrett.  Reality bites, eh mate?

Dubai has an idea to build a city in a pyramid that would be carbon neutral.  It could hold a million people.  Presumably live ones, rather than the earlier Egyptian model.
