Al Gore / AIT Index currently at -.38° F; globally averaged temperatures have dropped since An Inconvenient Truth was released As we do each month, GORE LIED has marked up Dr. Roy Spencer's monthly UAH Globally Averaged Satellite-Based Temperature of the Lower Troposphere to illustrate Gore's personal inconvenient truth.
The Al Gore / AIT Index is currently at -.38° F. That is to say that the globally averaged temperatures have gone down approximately .38° F. since Al Gore released An Inconvenient Truth at the Sundance Film Festival on January, 24, 2006. The Index has trended mostly up for the past four months or so, and is still significantly lower than when Gore's science fiction movie was released. Perhaps more importantly, Gore's and the IPCC's climate models showed no resting for anthropogenic global warming, but rather the temperatures headed straight up. Gore et al. said that the "consensus" among scientists was that CO2 drove temperature, and will overcome any natural fluctuations, i.e. since man-made CO2 emissions were still increasing, so would the temperature. Therefore, if we were to factor in where Gore et al. have pegged the global temperatures on their latest IPCC report this index would be even more damning for Al Gore.
