So much, then, for 20 years of unmitigated media hype! I especially enjoyed the reported comment of Andrew Davis, Director at the Environmental Transport Association:

“It’s understandable that people are getting bored by endless green talk that is never translated into action - increasing public apathy is a real concern for those of us in the environmental movement. The challenge for Alistair Darling in his Budget is to take action that matches his green rhetoric.”

In reality, I suspect the opposite, namely that fatuous ‘Green’ actions which cynically raise revenue for the government, while doing nothing but increase taxes and buisiness/household costs, will produce a new category of souls needing to be polled, namely the ‘fed-up-to-the back-teeth-with-the-global-warming-nonsense’ brigade.

Indeed, a few silly ‘Green’ taxes and measures might just do the trick in tipping the British public against ‘global warming’ madness.

Still, I have long predicted Global Yawning using the Global Carbonclaptrap Model, or GCM. Twenty years of doom and gloom emissions are enough for anybody.   Source
