Obama said we will go further into recession if we didn't bail out the banks. We bailed them out thrice and the recession deepened.
Obama said we had to free up credit to get our economy moving again. In response, banks tightened credit across all sectors, including home loans and credit cards.
Obama said the trillion-dollar stimulus plan would keep unemployment rates at or below 8%. That it would create a million new jobs. Unemployment is at 9.5% and expected to go even higher by year's end.
Obama said we could not let GM fail and proceeded to bail them out, fire its CEO, and become a majority stakeholder. GM is now in bankruptcy.
Obama now says the cap-and-trade bill will create jobs and save the environment. Obama says it is not a tax though energy bills will go up for all Americans. Since taking office, none of his prophesies has come true.
Why should we start believing him now?

I made a swing around the NEWSberry bush this morning. And still, not a stinking peep from the MSM (CNN.com, ABSNEWS.com, MSNBC.com, FOXNEWS.com, and the rest). I further have compiled very strong and blatant complaints to each organization. If they are not going to be news organizations, then change their titles!
The fact that the MSM is not whispering even a word about the largest, most aggressive and most damaging legislation to hit our Congress in U.S. history, is beyond reprehension. I will no longer watch them, blog them, visit their websites. I implore you all to do the same. Send them a message! Let them know that you are fed up with this crap!
I don't care if you are a Democrat, Republican, Alien, what ever. This affects YOU! This has NOTHING to do with partisanship! This has nothing to do about "liking" Obama or not. This has EVERYTHING to do with our QUALITY OF LIFE! Doesn't matter if you like Obama or not, and if you do, do you like him well enough to let him destroy your life? and your families lives? and your children's lives?
WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS CRAP ANYMORE!!!! STAND UP PEOPLE!!!
The same things now goes for carbon emissions and climate change. Aren't there enough clear signs that something isn't right with the climate? All glaciers and poles are retreating, first islanders in the south pacific are climate change refugees as their islands are sinking, the States are hit with more and more natural disasters. Be real, are you really sleeping well at night knowing that you are ignoring the evident only so you can drive your 100 gallons per mile pick-up truck, or did you simply not go to High School?
The religious tone of your epistle means you are a fully paid up member of the new misanthropic religion.. Repent your evil, selfish ways or you will not find salvation.
The first thing you need to know if there is no evidence we are experiencing unusual weather or climate. The climate has been much warmer in the recent past, and much cooler. The tipping points do not exists and are purely hypothetical.
If nothing else, you need to know that computer climate models do not output facts. They do not output data. Computer climate models are hypotheses, which can be tested by comparing their output to the actual climate. You have to be color-blind to believe they are accurate.
