Normally, I don't agree with Hansen, but in a profile in the current issue of the New Yorker magazine, Hansen has some choice words for any group that supports the Climate Bill tax being shoved down America's collective throat:
“This is just stupidity…the fact that some of these organizations have become part of the Washington ‘go along, get along’ establishment is very unfortunate.”
But then he goes off the rails and explains that we need at least a $1 per gallon of gasoline tax. He also is advocating for a carbon tax. He doesn't say where all that money will go or the fact that major industrial countries like China and India, who refuse to limit emissions, will negate any efforts on our part. I guess that's to be expected from someone who encourages people to break the law and supplies Al Gore with most of the disinformation both of them disseminate.
